35 applications for three ‘chiringuito’ spaces still to be filled on Sitges beaches

More than thirty projects have been submitted for the awards process of the last three remaining lots for ‘chiringuitos’ (beach bars) that were left unfilled in the previous tender for services on the beaches of Sitges this year.

The application submission period ended last week, with a total of 35 final proposals.

The previous tender left empty the lots corresponding to the beaches of  La Barra (Ponent), La Barra (Llevant) and Balmins beach, since the Sitges Town Council rejected the award of these three spaces due to ‘technical reasons’ that had occurred in the form of a discrepancy between the set of clauses of requirements and the annex of specifications.
