‘Linguistic Pairs’ – a great way to practise Spanish or English at CFA in Sitges

Since 2015, the Centre de Formació d’Adults (CFA) in Sitges has offered the possibility to practise Spanish and English in a relaxed atmosphere.

This exchange is open to students enrolled in English and Spanish courses at the centre, as well as those who are not taking any course there, and it is also open to people whose native language is not English or Spanish.

‘Linguistic pairs’ is a friendly and enjoyable way of practising languages. Moreover, having a linguistic pair allows one to improve the knowledge of a language and to meet people from other cultures. It is a beneficial and rewarding exchange for both members of the ‘pair’.

The programme of linguistic pairs works in a very simple way. It is only necessary to fill in the form and commit to dedicating a minimum of one hour a week to the programme. From the coordination team, a pair is assigned and, after the presentation and explanation the first day, they can already start practising.

The time spent in conversation is balanced so that half of the time in a session the pair should speak one language, and the other one should be spoken the rest of the time.

To participate it is required to have a level A2 or above of both languages.

The registration has been open since 5 September and it is in-person.

The CFA is at Sant Honorat 28 in Sitges. Tel: 93 894 10 48
