A call from a citizen resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old man who was trying to break the window of a motorhome with an axe, in the Vinyet area of Sitges last Thursday.
Two police patrols were dispatched to the scene, who reported that the man was carrying an axe and three kitchen knives.
The police proceeded to arrest the man for alleged robbery with force and also for breach of sentence. Later, they transferred the detainee to a local hospital.
