Seven new electric vehicle charging points to be installed in Sitges

The Sitges Local Government Board (JGL) on Monday approved the awarding of a contract for the construction and supply of seven 22kW semi-fast charging points for electric vehicles, as part of its commitment to promote non-polluting vehicles.

The distribution of the new charging points will be one in the Mas Alba area, one in front of the Carrefour de les Costes, one in the CEIP Maria Ossó, two in the Can Robert Park and the Passeig Marítim de les Botigues. This agreement will also allow to replace the existing charging point in front of the headquarters of the Local Police.

The cost of the project is €93,433 to be paid by Sitges Town Council in full, and includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the seven new charging points.
