Sitges Grape Harvest and Wine Festival takes place this weekend

The 62nd Harvest Festival and the 16th Wine Show will start on 29 September and last until 1 October in Sitges, with more than 15 wineries setting up stands in La Fragata area, and offering a display of the wine production of the Garraf and Penedès regions.

This Saturday 30 September, the Racó de la Calma will host the ‘Pregó’ of the festivities, with Alba Gràcia as the spokesperson. On Sunday 1 October there will be the pressing of the first grapes, which are then offered at the church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla, followed later by the 44th Competition of Grape Treaders.

In addition, there will be a Wine Show with the presence of wineries such as Família Torres, Jean Leon, Hospital de Sitges, Maset, Mas Bertran and Rovellats. There will also be a presentation of the Torres & Earth space, an exhibition by the Torres Foundation dedicated to making visitors aware of the effects of climate change.
