An app will now regulate parking in loading & unloading areas of Sitges

This week in Sitges, a new digital parking control system for loading and unloading areas in the centre of the town has gone into operation.

The new service aims to increase the rotation of parked vehicles and facilitate the availability of places for the distribution of goods. Authorised vehicles must obtain a digital ticket through the Parkunload application, without exceeding the 30 minutes allowed for parking.

Trucks, vans and two-seater mixed vehicles, as well as other authorised vehicles, have 11 reserved parking areas in the urban centre of Sitges for the delivery and collection of goods. There are six parking spaces at two points on Carrer de l’Illa de Cuba, eight spaces in three areas of Passeig de la Ribera, and seven more spaces in the Fragata area.

There are a further 10 spaces on Carrer de Santiago Rusiñol, six spaces for vehicles in two separate areas on Carrer de Francesc Gumà, and another six spaces in two areas on Avinguda d’Artur Carbonell.
