Firefighters called to ground floor fire in the Sitges Molins neighbourhood

A fire in a kitchen on a ground floor in Avinguda Francesc Macià shook the quiet Molins neighbourhood in Sitges on Tuesday morning. The swiftness of the actions of the local fire department meant that no major damage was reported, despite the scare.

Two trucks and a van from the fire brigade, an ambulance and a patrol car from the Mossos d’Esquadra were dispatched to the scene, quickly sealing off the street and preventing the movement of cars.
