Man arrested in Sitges pushing supermarket trolley packed with marijuana pollen

The local police in Sitges have arrested a man who was walking along Paseo de Vilafranca with a supermarket trolley full of marijuana pollen.

The incident happened on Saturday at 4.20am. Near to the place where he was arrested, the police officers also found another hundred kilos of the same substance that was hidden, adding up to a total of 130kg confiscated.

The detainee was initially transferred to the Sant Antoni Abat hospital and subsequently to the Mossos d’Esquadra to be brought before the courts for an alleged crime of drug trafficking. He was released on bail on Monday afternoon.
