Satisfaction of tourists to Garraf area ‘very high’, according to study

The return of post-pandemic tourism to Sitges has been clear for all to see this year. It has also been demonstrated by different studies which, once the summer high season months are over, reflect how employment figures and prices have not only recovered, but have improved in relation to 2019.

Beyond just evaluating the numbers, this past week also saw the results of the 2022 Online Tourist Reputation Monitor made public. It is a report prepared by the Tourism LAB of the Diputació de Barcelona, in which the satisfaction of the tourist experience of visitors to the Barcelona region is measured via the opinions expressed in the main online tourist portals between April 2021 and the same month of 2022.

The data presented by the Provincial Government of Barcelona confirms that the degree of satisfaction of visitors to the Garraf area (including Sitges) is ‘very high’, which also explains the growth experienced by Sitges in employment figures over the last few months. With this high degree of satisfaction among visitors, the town can expect to continue enjoying the growth and consolidation of the tourist sector.
