A quarter of homes on Sitges Council’s final phase of ‘social housing’ are for under 35s

The Sitges Town Council has approved the third and final phase of subsidised ‘social housing’ under its Officially Protected Housing (HPO) scheme, that was launched during this administration. In this final phase there will be 70 homes to add to the 105 already delivered in the first two phases.

The new homes are located on Carrer Lola Anglada, in La Plana, next to La Madriguera, and are in the final phase of construction, with completion expected after the summer. People interested in opting for one of these homes must register in the Register of Housing Applicants, before 30 June. Click here to register.

The 70 new homes will be of four types: 40, 67, 74 and 85 square metres, and the rent will be between 350 and 680 euros. 19 flats will be reserved for people under the age of 35, 14 for people with low incomes and two for people with reduced mobility.
