As is traditional, the Three Kings parade will be the main event on Wednesday 5 January in Sitges, but this year the route that was initially planned has been modified as a precautionary measure due to the pandemic.
The procession will begin near La Fragata beach, where Melchior, Gaspar and Balthasar will get on the floats and then continue on through the different streets of Sitges.
Once the parade is over, the Three Kings will go back down to La Fragata to receive from the hands of the mayor of Sitges, Aurora Carbonell, the key to open the houses of the town in order to carry out their work of distributing gifts, on the most magical night of the year. After this small reception, children will be able to deliver their last letters to the Three Kings in the same area of La Fragata.
The Three Kings Parade starts on Wednesday 5 January at 5pm at La Fragata and then the route continues as detailed below. Sitges Town Council will enable extra space for people with reduced mobility in the area where Passeig de la Ribera joins Carrer Bonaire. In order to keep the procession safe, the streets of the route will be closed to traffic (no cars, motorbikes or electric scooters will be allowed).

Sitges Town Council has recommended the following tips to enjoy the parade safely:
- Do not go pick up sweets from the ground whilst the parade’s floats are passing by.
- Do not climb up onto railings, containers or other elevated places.
- Do not cross the street whilst the floats are passing by.
- Write a name and contact phone number on your child’s hand or arm in case they get lost, or put a visible bracelet or card with this information.
- Hold younger children in your arms.
- Follow the organisation’s instructions at all times.
- If you go with a pram or with people with reduced mobility, try to see the parade from wide places and be aware of where the evacuation routes are.
- Spread along the entire route and try not to congregate on specific points.
- Maintain social distancing and wear a face mask.
