Sitges driver who was three times over the limit, crashes into another car

On Saturday during the afternoon, a vehicle crashed into another car on Carrer Josep Soler i Tasis in Sitges – which connects Ca l’Antoniet with Pins Bens – and caused damage to the other vehicle, but no physical injuries were reported.

A resident of the area witnessed the crash and then called the local police. The officers showed up after a short while and upon checking the scene, carried out a breathalyser test on the driver. He tested positive at 0.90 milligrams, more than three times the allowed amount, which is 0.25.

The police then started to initiate legal proceedings against the driver, with the case now being processed through the court of Vilanova.
