Sitges ‘Tapa a Tapa’ runs from 4-14 April

The Sitges ‘Tapa a Tapa’ Spring festival, billed as ‘the culinary trail with the tastiest tapas and the most genuine flavours’ is back with its 13th edition, this time running for 10 days from 4-14 April, and taking in 33 venues across town, of which 5 are located in the Port of Sitges-Aiguadolç.

The organisers hope to surpass the figures achieved last year and reach more than 35,000 tapas sold during the 10 days of the festival, which would mean an increase of between 12-14% compared to the previous year. It would also mean over €145,000 in tapas sales.

The price is €4 for a tapa accompanied by a ‘quinto‘ size bottle or glass of draught Estrella Damm beer. To bring the Hospitality School of the Joan Ramon Benaprès Institute closer to the general public, they will also be offering their tapas in Cap de la Vila on Saturday 6 April, from 11.30am to 2.15pm.

uPeople who take part in this gastronomic route will be able to vote for their favorite tapas and enter the draw for a night for two at the Hotel Sabàtic in Sitges.

The Tapa a Tapa festival is organised by the Sitges Hospitality Guild with the collaboration of Estrella Damm and the support of the Sitges Town Council, the Institut Joan Ramon Benaprès and Gastronosphere. Click here for details of all the tapas and the venues and participating.
