The Sitges Local Police arrested a young man on Christmas Eve night for assaulting an officer in Cap de la Vila in the town. The assault was minor and the agent did not require medical assistance.
The young man was with two other friends, behaving in a violent manner while punching and kicking the doors of commercial establishments, which were closed. When they arrived at Cap de la Vila they also approached a police vehicle with a violent attitude. When the police officers intervened, one of the young men assaulted one of them, which led to the arrest of the individual.
Meanwhile, as part of the ‘Grèvol’ patrol carried out by the security forces during the Christmas holidays, the Local Police registered two positive results for alcohol in the controls they carried out on drivers.
