Anti-drug operation in Vallcarca, Sitges

The Guardia Civil police carried out an anti-drug operation last week in Sitges. Specifically, in the port of Vallcarca, where a narco-boat and a truck that allegedly transported narcotic substances were intercepted.

The operation resulted in a number of arrests, although no further details have been released because the investigation is open.

Last week’s operation follows a previous one that had already been carried out at an important police control close to the roundabout of Aiguadolç and Llevantina, which connects to the coastal road towards Barcelona.

This is the second time in a few months that a narco-boat has been detected on the Sitges coastline. The previous one was in mid-June, when a boat appeared stranded on Cap de Grills beach, beyond the Terramar hotel. On that occasion, the Guardia Civil took it away to try to find possible evidence.
