Body found on the C-32 linked to Sitges

The Mossos d’Esquadra were alerted on Friday 8 October that a pedestrian had been found dead after being hit by a car at Km 50 of the C-32 motorway at Gavà, in the direction of Barcelona. A seemingly accidental death, but linked to Sitges.

The man had been celebrating his birthday in Sitges on that Friday, accompanied by a friend from the town, who was the last person who saw him alive after they parted company at Sitges station. The death has shocked family and friends, and the Mossos are investigating the strange circumstances of the case.

In the printed edition of L’Eco de Sitges this Friday, there will be a more comprehensive report (in Catalan) on the sad incident and the investigation being carried out by the Mossos d’Esquadra, as well as the different hypotheses that are being studied. L’Eco will also report on the last movements in the man’s life. We will update in due course here on Sitges in English.
