32 venues participate in the Sitges Spring ‘Tapa a Tapa’

From Thursday 13 April until Sunday 23 April, Sitges is celebrating a new edition of Tapa a Tapa. 32 bars and restaurants in the town are presenting their best culinary creations, which will allow you to taste haute cuisine in a small format, paired with a beer at a price of just 4 euros.

This year’s edition has the participation of the Hospitality School of the Benaprès Institute, which will be offering its tapa creation in the Cap de la Vila on Saturday 15 April at 12 noon, in an exhibition that will turn into a school day for the students, where there will be a gastronomic offer and catering service in one of the most emblematic areas of the town.

Meat, fish, vegetables, legumes, cheese and eggs are just some of the ingredients offered on the Tapa a Tapa route this year, where the 30 proposals mix fusion and traditional cuisine. You can also taste the last calçots of the season, as well as ‘a tapa that looks like something but is not quite what it seems to the naked eye’.

One of the novelties of this edition is that the traditional route booklet has become a fold-out, in the style of a traveller’s map. There, you can also find out all the instructions for voting for the best tapas. The local councillor for tourism, Luís Miguel García, has encouraged people to ‘get to know the creations of the 32 Sitges establishments and enjoy the local gastronomy, in an edition of Tapa a Tapa that will serve to welcome a new summer season’.
