Survey shows 75% of Sitges residents approve of Town Council’s management

Sitges is a town where people like to live. This has been illustrated by a survey carried out by the Diputació de Barcelona of 400 residents in the town. 92% of those who replied said they were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ with living in the municipality.

The study also showed the greatest concerns of local residents – of which cleanliness (street cleaning and waste management) stood out. It also showed that the evaluation of the services or the management of the Sitges Town Council was approved by more than 75% of those surveyed. At the same time, it highlighted the need to find solutions to problems that have been lingering for some time.

Regarding the work of the local council, on average it is rated at 5.8 – in the region, the average is 5.5, and in the province of Barcelona, 6.1. Three out of four respondents approved of the council’s management, although only 5% consider it excellent.
