Please note that since the start of April, Spain’s Health Ministry changed its method for reporting Covid-19 data. It now only focuses on cases registered among citizens of ‘higher vulnerability’ and older age groups.

There have been 49,143 new cases registered of Covid for those aged 60 and over since the last update on Tuesday.
The incidence rates for each higher age group are: 443 for 60-69 years (Friday 8 April: 350); 583 for 70-79 years (438); 731 for those aged 80 and over (528).
