The Moritz Feed Dog Fashion Documentary Festival, the only festival in Spain dedicated to documentaries about fashion, kicks off today until 31 March 2019 in Barcelona.
Born in 2015, the festival aims to show the general public the richness and complexity of fashion
as a cultural phenomenon, and as a reflection of society and its history.
It also aims to show the particular universe of fashion through proven quality films that are of interest for both specialists and the general public.
With a few parallel events over the weekend attended by experts from the fashion industry, the documentary films at Moritz Feed Dog this year include ‘Jean Paul Gaultier: Freak and Chic’, directed by Yann L’Hénoret, ‘Peter Lindbergh – Women’s Stories’, by Jean Michel Vecchiet, ‘Cassandra, the Exotico!’ by Marie Losier and ‘The Wars of Coco Chanel’, by Jean Lauritano.
The opening film for the inauguration is ‘Yellow is Forbidden’ by Pietra Brettkelly.
