Gutiziak fusion cuisine
Gutiziak is a new family-run restaurant offering the best in class of fusion cuisine with Basque roots, paying tribute to our family origins.
We recently celebrated our first anniversary, having opened the doors of Gutiziak on 10 September 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. It is the result of many years of hard work, effort and dedication to the kitchen that has led to this great family project in Sitges by the hand of Christian Nindl, former chef of Mano Rota, a renowned fusion cuisine restaurant in Barcelona.
The passion for cooking runs in the family, originally from our great-grandmother, María Pilar Amozarráin, the matriarch of an enterprising Basque family. Our restaurant opened its doors in her honour and we hope to delight the most restless and demanding palates in a family environment by offering a different and creative cuisine.
After one year of hard work we are proud of the result. But most important is that our customers love our food and feel at home.
It is not all about money, it is about feeling great with what you do and helping others to enjoy life … Carpe Diem!
