Local campaign for ‘canine centre’ in Sitges

Sitges resident Sergi Muñoz’s love for animals, and especially dogs, has been the reason for starting an initiative to seek funding for the construction of a day ‘canine centre’ in the municipality.

In order to be able to carry out this project, the aim is to find a plot of land of 3,000 square metres that the Sitges Town Council would transfer for its use, and to seek financing of half a million euros to be able to build it with all the services of a facility that would include obstacle courses and exercise areas, a swimming pool, vet, pet washing service, training space, childcare and a café and restaurant space for pet owners.

To achieve this, they have launched a page on Change.org to obtain signatures that support the project, and are also asking the council to find a space where such a facility can be located. Further details can be found at: Change.org/SitgesCentroCanino.
