Latest: Coronavirus in Spain figures (17 Mar)

The Balearic Islands, the Valencia region, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, La Rioja and Murcia will cease to be Covid-19 ‘risk zones’ for Germany as of this Sunday 14 March.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) of virology updated its list of risk areas due to the pandemic on Friday, and excluded these regions of Spain from the category ‘risk areas’. It has kept the other 11 regions of Spain on the risk list.
