US comedian Carmen Lynch joins us live at 7pm on ‘Lockdown Lowdown’

This evening the Lockdown Lowdown show is not only going global, but starring US comedian Carmen Lynch.

Our popular online Lockdown Lowdown series is hosted by the ‘brilliant’ Barcelona-based comedian Chris Groves – the so-called (or self-labelled) ‘star presenter’ of the TV show, Manual de Supervivència for TV3. For the past few weeks, ‘funnyman Groves’ has been treating his ‘multiple fans’ to a lighthearted look at life in lockdown, alongside various special guests.

This evening from 7pm, Groves will be linking up live with the New York-based comedian Carmen Lynch, who has appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien – and also on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She is also a regular on Comedy Central.

In 2017 Carmen Lynch performed a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her show ‘Lynched’ and she also works in Spanish-speaking countries doing stand-up in Spanish.

Her comedy album Dance Like You Don’t Need the Money was described by The New York Times as ‘one of five to stream’ and was voted the No.1 comedy album in 2017 by SiriusXM.
