The Museu Europeu d’Art Modern (MEAM) in Barcelona this week welcomes the 13th International ARC Salon Exhibition, which features a selection of the winners and finalists from the competition of the same name.

Over 3,750 entries were received from 69 countries for the latest edition of this event that celebrates Realism, and the finalists make up just under a third of those submitted.

The competition is organised by ARC, the Art Renewal Center, which aims to revive the position of Realism in the visual arts.
