Update: Rosalía announces 2nd concert in Barcelona on 8 December

This is an updated report.

The bad news is that all the tickets for Rosalía‘s concert at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi stadium on 7 December have already sold out. The good news is that the Catalan singer has announced another performance at the same venue the next day – Sunday 8 December.

The tickets for Rosalía’s concerts in Barcelona (7 Dec) and Madrid (10 Dec) sold out within two hours. However on Friday, the singing sensation announced an extra night in the Catalan capital for 8 December.

Tickets for the additional date in the 18,000-capacity Palau Sant Jordi are likely to go just as fast when they officially go on sale on Monday 23 September at 10am on the LiveNation website, and at 1pm on Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés.

The announcement of the additional concert comes after reports that some tickets for the first concert, which cost between 28 and 65 euros, were being offered for resale on a number of non-official online platforms for over 1,000 euros.

The performances will bring Rosaía’s ‘El mal querer’ tour to an end, which has seen the singer from the Catalan town of Sant Esteve Sesrovires perform in the US, Portugal, the UK and Switzerland.

Our earlier report is below:

Tickets go on sale today, Friday 20 September, for superstar singer Rosalía‘s two concerts that she will perform in Spain before the end of the year.

The Barcelona concert will be on 7 December at the Palau Sant Jordi stadium, whilst in Madrid she will perform on 10 December at the WiZink Center.

It has been a year full of success for the singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires in Catalonia, who has reaped the fruits of her celebrated El mal querer (2018) with fantastic international acclaim.

The 25-year-old’s star has continued to rise, with the video for her song Con altura, with J Balvin, bagging her two MTV awards.

Before that, last November, the singing sensation was awarded two Latin Grammys for her hit song, Malamente.

The Barcelona concert will be the first large-scale solo performance the Catalan singer will have given.

While Rosalía performed in Catalonia before more than 60,000 people in June, the concert was part of the Primavera Sound music festival.

Tickets for the December concerts go on sale to the general public today, but hurry – as given Rosalía’s rising popularity they are not likely to remain on sale for long.
