Barcelona Games World launches 2018 edition

The third edition of the video game festival Barcelona Games World takes place in the Catalan capital this weekend, with the chance to try out all the latest releases in games from the world of digital entertainment.

Barcelona Games World is divided into six different areas, enabling the public to experience the full range of the gamer universe: Play, E-Sports, Retro, Pro, Funfest and Edu.

Play features a range of the newest games from almost 30 of the world’s leading producers including Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Disney, Warner Brothers and Game.

There are numerous opportunities to try new interactive and virtual reality technologies, plus novelties such as Vodafone’s You Vértigo, a game that’s played at a height of 50 metres.
