Short films and a magic show at the Sitges Museums’ summer festival

The Sitges Museums’ summer cultural festival, known as ‘Sitgestiu’, has been hosting a total of 37 very diverse events and activities for all tastes during the months of July and August, and with many events also in English.

The festival continues until the end of August and this week there’s a chance to enjoy some short films in the open air, plus a magic show.

On Wednesday 14 August, and in association with the Sitges Film Festival, four short films are being screened in the Racó de La Calma, from 22h. The films, in Spanish and Catalan only, are:

· AHORA VUELVO by Lucas Paulino and Gabe lbáñez
· INTERCANVI  by Alberto Evangelio
· LA ÚLTIMA HISTORIA  by Vicente Molina
· IMPRIMIR LA LEYENDA  by Víctor Matellano

Tickets are just €5 and can be booked by clicking here.

On Friday 16 August, the Sitgestiu Festival is hosting a ‘Magic Art’ performance by Pere Rafart, the ‘king of magic’.

Described as ‘a show where the magician shows some of his best self-created tricks, in an agile, interactive and comical show’, Pere Rafart has been a winner of a National First Prize and twice runner-up of the FISM World Championships of Magic.

This show will be held on the terraces of the Palau de Maricel and he will converse in Catalan, Spanish and English. The show starts at 19h and tickets, priced €12, can be purchase by clicking here.
