Sir Tom Jones, Sara Baras and Zaz among first acts confirmed for Sitges Terramar Festival

Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones, 82, will be performing at the Festival Jardins Terramar in Sitges this summer, which takes place from 28 July until 10 August

French singer-songwriter Zaz is another international act confirmed for the festival.

Welsh artist Jones will offer a repertoire with the greatest number of world hits since the 1960s, such as Delilah, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, It’s Not Unusual and Sex Bomb, as part of his ‘Ages & Stages Tour’. He will perform on 3 August in Sitges.

On 28 July the festival kicks off with the opening double performance by the formation Els Amics de les Arts and the indie-pop singer Suu. On 30 July Sara Baras presents her new show Alma and on 6 August Blaumut, together with the Young Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, complete the list of the first names announced.

The promoter Terra Music & Events was the winner of the recent public tender for the organisation of the festival during the next four years (2023-2026), an award that reinforces the consolidation of the festival which in 2022 obtained an economic benefit to Sitges of nearly €7 million.

Early tickets will be on sale from this Friday 3 February at 10am, on the festival’s official website: www.festivaljardinsterramar.com
