After many years of the streets, pavements and trees being in a very poor state in the Terramar and Vinyet areas of the town, Sitges Town Council has now concluded the restoration work of the sidewalks of Carrer Juan de la Cierva, l’avinguda Navarra and surroundings streets.
The council is planning two more phases of improvement work to be carried out in the coming financial years.
The first phase of the work was aimed at transforming the dangerous state of the pavements and sidewalks in the area due to the passage of time and the protruding roots of the pine trees, that had created many bulges and bumps in the asphalt.
