Autòdrom Terramar hosts world presentation of new Cupra models

Last week, the Autòdrom Terramar hosted the global presentation of the new models of Cupra cars: the Terramar, the Tavascan and the Urban Rebel.

The car company rented the facilities to hold the event, which congretated 4,000 professionals from across Europe and attended by the President of the Catalan government, Pere Aragonès, as well as the Mayor of Sant Pere de Ribes, Abigail Garrido.

Cupra set up a temporary auditorium in which a mobile stage for the presentation and stands for 600 people were installed. In addition, a food area was set up to cater for all guests, and an urban art and music area was set up in collaboration with Primavera Sound

The three new models of the Cupra brand were presented, including one that has been named Terramar and will be marketed in 2024. The vehicles were also rolled out on the track of the Autòdrom, which was adapted with lights and lasers. This is the second time that Cupra has chosen the venue to present its vehicles worldwide. The previous one was in 2018.

The Autòdrom will begin work this year to adapt the facilities to its new activities, which will be in two areas: events related to the world of motoring, such as the one held this week with Cupra, and the other being international horse jumping competitions, which will be held in the ring of the circuit between October and April.
