Partial demolition of the old Atlàntida nightclub in Sitges

Work has begun on the partial demolition of some of the illegal parts of the old Atlàntida nightclub in Sitges. Several court rulings had condemned areas of the abandoned premises since 2014, the year in which the activity of the establishment finally stopped.

The aim of the work is to remove some of the sections that were built without the corresponding license, or with a license that was eventually revoked.

The areas affected means that demolition work is being carried out on the first floor, on an acoustic wall, as well as removing architectural barriers.

The demolition does not affect the entire building, but part of the nightclub.
