Sitges Next brings together a line-up of experts in communication & creativity

Sitges Next – a festival dedicated to promoting innovation in communication for brands, agencies, start-ups and technological creators – takes place this Thursday 11 and Friday 12 November, with a line-up of experts who will explore innovation in the world of brand communication, creativity and new trends in digital culture.

Different presentations, case studies, round table discussions and networking sessions make up a festival that will bring together communicators, creatives, publicists, entrepreneurs and marketing and strategy directors from different fields over the course of two days in the centre of town. The main presentations and panel discussions will be held at the Mercat Vell, whilst the Fundació Stämpfli and the Palau de Maricel are other venues where networking activities will be held.

The line-up of Sitges Next is structured into blocks of themes that represent relevant sectors, including the automotive industry, teaching, strategy, branded content, new journalism formats and production.

This sixth edition of Sitges Next brings together a wide-ranging list of leading names in advertising, who will be addressing the current challenges of innovation in communication. Toni Segarra, Josep Maria Piera, Eva Santos, Pancho Cassis, Camil Roca and Gil Blancafort are just some of the names on the programme. The Sitges local councillor for economic promotion, Guillem Escolà, emphasised the strategic importance of the event, saying ‘it brings together the town’s main creators of trends and influences in advertising and Sitges is clearly committed to hosting filming and projecting its image through advertising’.

Integrated in the Sitges Next programme, the Sitges Town Council’s department of economic promotion, in collaboration with NODE Garraf, is organising an Entrepreneurship Day for the local business community, which will be held in the Palau de Maricel on Thursday from noon until 2pm, during which there will also be presentations of case studies of companies that have managed to open to foreign markets through talent and ingenuity.
