Covid deniers to hold a conference in Sitges during Sant Joan

The World Freedom Forum states that it is ‘born from the need to know more of knowledge’ and that ‘the only way to regain security and the power to control life is to shine a light on what is happening’. It claims to be ‘a meeting of conscious beings, who with their exhibitions in the different fields of knowledge and from their knowledge, will bring us the Torch of Knowledge’.

This is how the organisers of a forum to be held in Sitges ‘for the freedom of all the people who occupy the planet’, which will take place in the town (according to its website, in the street of the Carrer Divina Pastora), present themselves on its website. Miguel Bosé’s friends – the Spanish singer is one of the speakers – are fighting ‘to give us back our rights and our freedom’.

The recent résumés of some of the participating characters leave nothing in doubt: they are nothing more than pandemic deniers and authors of real gems among their statements. They complain that Covid-19 has been created to enrich the world’s elites, but at the same time charge considerable amounts to attend the event: 300 euros to go in person (it is presumed without a face mask and without respecting current health measures) and 85 euros if you want to follow the conferences online.

The event, which will be held from 24-26 June, will feature medical, political, legal and scientific speakers. Among them, characters such as Andreas Kalcker (a German scientist), who argues that chlorine dioxide (CDS) should be used to cure diseases. Scientific studies, however, show that this product is harmful to our health. The Spanish Institute of Toxicology has detected several poisonings for ingesting CDS.

Among the denying activists are also doctors, such as the Spaniard Ángel Ruiz Valdepeñas, who was sanctioned by the Balearic Medical Association for bluntly explaining that the pandemic did not exist, and the Argentine Chinda Brandolino: ‘contraception, abortion, the pandemic and other practices of population decline are promoted from the highest centres of power’, says the doctor.

‘Freedom is not just a right, it is a choice of the one who feels and knows himself free,’ concludes the WFF’s presentation. Ask relatives and friends of the nearly four million deaths caused by Covid-19. They certainly won’t agree with the approach.
