The ninth edition of FLIC Festival, Barcelona’s literature and arts festival for young people and families, starts on 2 March.
The festival aims to promote the relationship between various art forms via innovative and experimental formats, encouraging both interdisciplinary creation and an interest in literature.
This year it takes place in five main venues, including the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), Mercat de les Flors and the Filmoteca de Catalunya, and the programme features dance performances, screenings and theatre shows.
Other highlights include a literary creation fair for small children at the Museu del Disseny that features workshops for children, a market and talks, and the chance to meet and get creative with different artists at the MACBA.
