CCCB building (Adrià Goula, CCCB)

The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) is this weekend celebrating its 25th anniversary with two days of free activities including live music and screenings.

It was 24 February 1994 when the CCCB opened its doors for the first time.

Describing itself as ‘a space for creation, research, exhibition and debate on contemporary culture’, it hosts a range of activities throughout the year including art shows, performances, festivals and talks on numerous subjects.

The CCCB opened its doors exactly 25 years ago. (CCCB)
