Manga Fair hits Barcelona

Thousands of visitors are expected to visit this weekend’s Salón del Manga in Barcelona, which is celebrating its 24th edition.

The four-day event is loved by fans young and old of the popular Japanese comics, giving them a chance to meet guest authorsand illustrators as well as check out the numerous stands selling comic books and related merchandise.

Throughout the weekend, other activities on offer include workshops, exhibitions and fun for kids. Many attendees dress up as their favourite manga character and various cosplay competitions are held, while there are also spaces dedicated to other aspects of Japanese culture.

When: 1-4 November, 9am-8pm.
